5. Poco M2

best phones for PUBG in Nepal
Poco M2 as one of the best phones for PUBG in Nepal

Poco M2 is easily the best phone under 20,000 in Nepal, when it comes to every aspect. But, in terms of gaming, it is a step behind Realme C3 at almost the same price. We will discuss the reason shortly. The phone comes with gaming focused MediaTek Helio G80 processor. This is an octa-core processor built on 12nm manufacturing process with 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Two powerful A75 cores means you will excellent performance in terms of gaming.

Poco M2 comes with ample 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, meaning even after accidental presses out of the game, you will get into the game quickly. The reason the phone is behind Realme C3 is that Poco M2 has got FHD+ screen, with almost the same processor. This means every time you play the game, the CPU has to push extra pixels in the screen. It greatly reduces performance and adds up to heating of the phone.

In terms of heating, the phone heats a lot after long gaming. So, you should keep your fan or A/C on and you are good to go. Also, the phone has got 5020mAh battery. This should let you play PUBGM for more than 5 hours for sure.

The phone should do good for classic matches. When there is more than 2 squads pushing at you, there will be frame drops for sure. After all, this is a phone under just 20,000. Playing tournaments and custom rooms will make the phone throttle, dropping the frame rate to around 30FPS at times. So, this might not be the phone for you if you play competitive matches. For classics, this should be the go-to phone for you.

4. Realme C3

Realme C3

Realme C3 has very good processor for the price. It comes with gaming focused MediaTek Helio G70 processor along with 3GB of RAM. On paper, the CPU might trick you into thinking this is a lower version of Helio H80 on Redmi 9. But, the phone performs almost the same as Redmi 9, and even better on some cases. The reason for better performance than G80 on Redmi 9 is that the phone has just HD+ screen, meaning the processor has to push less pixels while gaming. This means slight edge over Redmi 9 in terms of gaming.

As the G80, G70 also comes with 12nm manufacturing process. So, you will experience heating after prolonged gameplay. So, fan or A/C will be a better option while playing PUBG on the phone. The device has got massive 5000mAh battery for decent gaming time without having to charge the phone regularly while playing the game.

In terms of performance, the phone holds good for classic matches with not much squads around you. If you ever got pushed by 2 or 3 squads (which is unlikely in classics), you will get fairly decent frame rate from the phone. For competitive matches, you might want to spend extra on your phone, as you definitely will not pick Realme C3 if you are a hardcore gamer anyway.

3. Redmi Note 9

Redmi Note 9 is one of the best phones for PUBG in Nepal under 25K. You might not find much of difference between Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9 overall, but in terms of gaming, you will see some differences. First of all, MediaTek Helio G85 chip-set meant for gaming on mid to low end devices. There is not of difference between Helio G70 or Helio G80 or Helio G85, yet the optimizations for later one gives it a head-start. Still, you will see some disadvantages like heating issue. The price is a bit higher for the device, but it’s worth the money.

You will get 40FPS gameplay, with constant 35-40FPS frame rates. The device lags a bit when you are pushed by 2 squads at the same time, but is good for less-intensive situations.

In terms of processor, MediaTek Helio G85 processor has 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The phone comes with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The phone can be used for classic matches and normal gameplay. But, you might want to consider next devices if you are really into competitive gaming.

2. Redmi Note 9 Pro

Redmi Note 9 Pro is one of the best phones for PUBG in Nepal in 2020 under 30k in Nepal, but not the best one. This is mainly because of the amount of glitches and bugs on the phone that is device specific.

Redmi Note 9 Pro features Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G based on 8nm manufacturing process. This is an octa-core (2×2.3 GHz Kryo 465 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 465 Silver) processor with Adreno 618 GPU. As of RAM/ROM configuration goes, we get 6GB/8GB RAM with 64GB/128GB ROM combination.

The device is good enough for classic as well as competitive gameplay. Due to the smaller manufacturing process, i.e. 8nm, you will experience a lot less heating on the phone. You can enjoy 40FPS gameplay, but not 60FPS though

The main problem I have faced in the device is it’s gyroscope glitch. Another one, maybe with just my device is that the game tends to freeze in close range attacks. No, the game itself doesn’t freeze but the touch response becomes null sometimes. This greatly reduces your chance in tight calls where even a millisecond matters. Redmi Note 9 Pro could easily have been the best, but with these disadvantages, it got no. 2 on the list.

1. Redmi Note 8 Pro

Best Phones For PUBG In Nepal

Despite being a year old variant of Redmi Note 9 Pro, Note 8 Pro with truly gaming MediaTek Helio G90T tops our list for best phones for PUBG in Nepal under 30000.

The gaming focused chip-set is optimized specially for playing online games. Octa-core (2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU supports the above statement. Powerful A76 cores makes it possible to push 60FPS gameplay on the phone. You can play classic as well as competitive matches without any issues on the phone.

The only downside of the phone is it’s heating issue. Since the processor is made on inefficient 12nm process, you will experience heating on the device after prolonged gameplay. So, fan should be your friend while playing PUBGM on Redmi Note 8 Pro.
